Prayer

For us and our families – Moving away will be very difficult for us all. Please pray for trust in God, and pray that any anxiety would be replaced by peace.

Pray for us as parents – that we would have wisdom, especially since we are taking our child to live in such a different culture.

Pray for Elijah – that he would grow up having faith in Jesus, and that he would be protected from harm.

Pray for the organization:

For the work of Wycliffe Bible Translators – for wisdom and innovation. Pray for God’s leading at all levels of the organization.

For Ukarumpa – for safety, unity and peace among members living here and also between Ukarumpa and the surrounding villages.

Pray for PNG:

Pray for Scripture to be made available in written and audio formats, and for it to make a life-changing impact.

Pray for the maturity of the church, and for culturally relevant expressions of faith to be developed. Wisdom and creativity are needed.

Pray for peace among different tribes in Papua New Guinea.

Pray for God’s protection over women and children in Papua New Guinea, and for increased access to literacy and healthcare.

Pray for rain! Most people in PNG rely heavily on their personal gardens for food supply and a recent drought has been very damaging.
